Got sample from my eye doc with the following instructions Wash face with soap and water Apply a hot compress for 30 seconds against your closed eyelids. Apply a cold compress against your closed eyelids for 30 seconds. Liberally apply Sterilid Eye Foam over your closed eyes and then blink 3 times. Rinse off the foam after a one minute soak. Do this for the first seven days of every month. Been doing for the past 3 months and my eyes have not felt so good in the past seven years.

This is an excellent product. Has really provided relief from burning and dry eye discomfort relating to blepharitis.

This is a good product, but the pump delivery system is problematic. Every now and then it malfunctions and I lose almost an entire container of this relatively expensive formulation. But when the pump works properly it is wonderfully effective for chronic blepharitis. I have tried many other such products and none compares, so I put up with the periodic malfunctioning. But it is a shame the manufacturer cannot fix this problem.

I love the product but I don't care for the dispensing pump. It always gets stuck after you have used the product about 5 times. That aspect sure puts me off using it. Having said that, I am at this site to order more. :)

I received a sample of this product from my eye specialist. I have been suffering with severe dry eyes for over three years now and I am a 51-year old female. I have found that washing my eyes once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime with this product has brought tremendous relief. I have searched high and low for this product to buy at any store to no avail. I am very grateful to the inventor because something like this product can change someone's life. I also use Theratears eye drops exclusively because after trying almost every brand on the shelves, these give me the best results. I would recommend this product and other Theratears products to all my fellow dry eye sufferers!

I have chronic blepaharitis that my eye doc described as an 8 on a 10 on a point scale. It's always lurking and sometimes flares up and once caused an ulcer on my cornea. She recommended using SteriLid and I have been for about a year. In all honesty I can't say that it works with all the other daily rituals I preform to keep the flare ups at a minimum, but I do use it twice a day. The thing that bothers me is what the other poster said, it stops pumping after a short time. You would think that for the price they could design a better delivery system.

I have been suffering from recurring styes for the past 2 to 3 years. My eyes have also constantly looked red and inflamed during this period, which I just found out is called blepharitis.
I found Sterilid about 3 days ago, and I can already tell that the inflammation is going down. My eye lids also have a (more) normal color, instead of that ugly deep red. I guess the real test will be staying stye free, but so far I'm very impressed with this over the counter product. |

I've suffered from chronic bleph/MGD for about 2 years and tried lid scrubs before, but I avoided this brand because it was more expensive. Boy, what a mistake. This stuff is amazing. For me, it works almost as well as ocular steroids.

Such a relief from having to use cotton buds and baby shampoo and my eye lids are better from using this product, I'm sure baby shampoo is too harsh for the eye lids over time. The pump lid isn't a problem, sometimes they don't work as well as they should but just pump it more gentle and lift the pump if it sticks down - it still works. I've given it 4 stars as it is an expensive product, but it is a time saver and more convenient. I've cut down to using sterilid once a day in the evening (as it is expensive) with just cotton buds and saline in the morning - works great.
